Scott Chaisson

Regional Sales Director

scottchaisson@me.com

Scott Chaisson brings a unique perspective when it comes to recruiting new clients for Post Game Financial. As a former professional athlete he knows first-hand the importance of enjoying the game, but financially preparing for the future.

Scott and Roy Caso have worked together for years. In fact, Roy was Scott’s agent when he was first selected in the 5th round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. The following year Scott was traded to the Oakland Athletics. After two seasons he was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the Major League Rule 5 Draft and was also invited to pitch in the MLB All-Star Futures later that season. Scott spent two years in the major leagues with the Chicago Cubs (2001-2003). In 2007, Scott spent the season overseas playing for the Yokohama Baystars in the Japanese Central League. He then played three seasons with a Mexican League team called Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun.

Scott grew up in Norwich, Connecticut and was actively involved in school athletics, particularly baseball. He then elected to attend and play baseball for Eastern Connecticut State University. In his junior year of college he set a NCAA Division III tournament record with three saves. He made the Baseball America’s and American Baseball Coaches Association’s All-American teams for NCAA Division III. Despite his baseball commitments, Scott also received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Scott is an avid golfer and continues his love of baseball by working with the Mike Turgeon Baseball School offering pitching lessons to aspiring athletes. He currently resides in Oakdale, Connecticut with his wife Heather and three children.
